We hope that camp will open soon. In the meantime, you may book a cabin and you will receive a refund if camp is not open during your intended stay. NOTE: We have changed our peak season rentals from Monday to Monday due to required cleaning in between renters. You will need to vacate your cabin by 9:00 a.m. on Monday to allow the cleaners to have access to read the cabin for the next guest.
What We Offer
Four rustic cabins and a primitive ground tent site are available for ACA members’ use for up to three continuous weeks in the division camp at Lake Sebago in Harriman State Park. The rental season is from May 1 through October 15, 2020. Rentals can be booked through our online booking system which will allow you to see what the availability is for all of our rentals and to book online. There will not be a lottery this year and rentals will be on a first come first served basis.
The cabins are: Lakeside (505), Overlook (518), Bliss (523) and Hilltop Lodge (501). Each cabin has electricity, a refrigerator, a cooking stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, table and chairs, dishes, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, tableware, screened windows and beds (no bedding). Each has a picnic table and fire pit. Other than Hilltop, there is no running water in the cabins but water is available nearby. Remember, you must bring your own sheets, pillows and blankets.
The camp provides two separate latrines with flush toilets. One latrine has hot water and showers. There is a swimming dock, boat-launching areas, hiking on marked trails, and fishing with a NYS fishing license for all sixteen years and older. Latrines are not to be used for washing dishes. Water can be brought back to your cabins to wash dishes.
2020 rental rates
Lakeside, Overlook & Bliss: $35 a night, $210 a week, $280 holiday week, $120 holiday weekend (Memorial day and Columbus day).
Hilltop is $65 a night, $350 a week except for July 4 and Labor day weeks when the rate is $455. Note: there is also a three day minimum rental on Memorial day and Columbus day weekends with a rate of $210.
For all cabins there is a minimum rental of 7 nights from June 28 to September 9. However, if a cabin is not rented by Monday of any given week, shorter rentals will be considered for the balance of that week at the single night rate noted above. You are responsible for following all camp and rental cabin rules and ensuring that your guests do as well, including payment of daily camp fees or having a season pass for you and your guests. A full listing of all camp and rental cabin rules will be provided to you when your reservation is confirmed and is available here: Camp Rules 2020. When you have guests, you are required to be in attendance while they are at the camp. According to the park rules, you are not allowed to bring pets into the camp.
Eligibility & Time
Only a current Atlantic Division adult member twenty-one years and older may rent a cabin up to a limit of three continuous weeks. The minimum period is one week from June 28th to Labor Day. The weekly rental period is from Monday at 5 p.m through the following Monday at 9 a.m. Cabins will be cleaned between rentals by a professional cleaning company so it is imperative that you check out by 9:00 a.m. on Monday morning.
All individuals staying in rental cabins are required to sign waivers. Waivers can be found in your cabin and should be signed upon arrival at camp and provided to the Camp Director.
How to Book
Our online system allows you to see what dates are available at all of our cabins and register and pay online. Below are links to each facility where you will find a calendar that shows current availability. The dates are color coded and will either be “available,” “booked” or “pending.” If it shows as available, click on the first and last day that you wish to rent. Note: the rental rules in place are loaded into the calendar meaning that if there is a 2-day, 3-day or 7-day minimum rental period, the calendar will not let you book a shorter period. If you are interested in renting for less than the minimum, contact the Sebago registrar, Donna Cain at email@example.com to determine if your request is possible and to book offline.
If the calendar is showing as pending, that means that someone else has requested those dates and their booking is being reviewed. If there is a date that you want that is not available to book, email Donna Cain to let her know in case there is a cancellation.
After filling out the online form, you will be directed to a PayPal page to make payment. Once payment is made, you will receive a confirmation email of your rental request. Note that this is not the final approval. After we have received your online form and payment your rental will be approved once your eligibility is confirmed including proof of current A.C.A. membership through your rental dates. In order to speed up your booking, send Donna Cain a photo of your ACA card. Once your booking is approved you will receive a confirmation email with additional details.

Hilltop is suitable for large families and groups of up to eighteen people. It provides a lounge area and a separate kitchen with running water. Three bedrooms sleep up to six people each in bunk beds. It is adjacent to the camp recreation room: Hilltop Rental Page
Tent Site: At the edge of the camp, beyond tent platform 12, a primitive tent site can be reserved for ground tenting. There is a fire pit and a picnic table (no electricity). All gear and supplies, including water, must be packed in. A maximum of three tents and eight people may use this site. Tent Site Rental Page
ACA Membership Rate Change
The ACA National Committee changed the ACA membership rates in 2019. There is no longer a trial or family membership. Instead, each person age 10 and older must join the ACA to enter camp and the membership fee is $25 per person.
Daily Fees Change
This summer all daily fees for rental cabins renter and guests must be paid in advance. Following confirmation of your rental, you will receive an invoice with a link to PayPal from the camp director if you do not have a season pass. Confirmation of these payments must be received before your rental begins.
