The only way all of this can get accomplished in such a timely manner is through our dedicated volunteers (this means you :) so please attempt to come into camp on the scheduled workdays even if it is only for a couple of hours. And enjoy the fresh air and the scenery.

Dates:  April 12th,   April 13th, April 26th and April 27th.

See Tom Ubel for your work assignment.

City of Water Day Festival

Mark your calendars for the City of Water Day Festival on July 12, 2014 — a free, day-long event that features on-the-water fun, free boat tours, a Waterfront Activity Fair with many children’s projects, great food and music, and much more!

The purpose of City of Water Day, hosted by the Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance (waterfrontalliance.org), is to focus wide-scale public attention on the potential of the New York-New Jersey Harbor. More than 25,000 people are expected to attend the festival this year at its two main locations — Governors Island and Maxwell Place Park in Hoboken, NJ — and thousands more will visit City of Water Day “In Your Neighborhood” festivities at waterfront venues all around the metropolitan region. For more information, please visit cityofwaterday.org.
